Dr. Patrizia Caruso completed her PhD  in “Mechanical, Manufacturing, Management and Aerospace Innovation” at the University of Palermo (Italy) in 2025. She obtained her Bachelor’s (2017) and master’s degree in mechanical engineering (2021) at the University of Palermo. She thrives in dynamic environments, combining creative problem-solving with strategic thinking to deliver impactful outcomes. Her skills and dedication to professional growth ensure adaptability and success in diverse contexts. Patrizia’s proactive approach and great communication abilities make her a valuable asset in achieving innovative solutions.

Her research focuses on the mechanical and microstructural characterization of native and bioengineered tissues.  Dr. Patrizia is a highly qualified and versatile professional specializing in microscopy, mechanical testing, histological techniques, and histology. She is also skilled in data analysis and the interpretation of results. Patrizia has extensive experience working in tissue engineering laboratories, making her an asset to our team.
